‘Bringing Jersey Alive’

It is so easy to rush around historic St Helier, or just drive past our Island’s castles and towers, farmhouses, cliffs and golden beaches not knowing much, if anything, about their history. As a guide, I aim to ‘Bring Jersey Alive’ so that you can experience something of Jersey’s long and fascinating history complimented with our beautiful environment whilst appreciating more about the past.

Over the centuries Islanders have faced numerous challenges including the threat of invasion or occupation the continuing need to diversify their means of earning a livelihood, to adapt to the changing world around them. Being Jersey born I am very proud of the resilience and creativity that Islanders have shown over the centuries and how the Island has evolved whilst still guarding its historic constitution.

Venturing on one of my walks, or a coach tour with me you will 'Experience' insights into Jersey’s history as far back as prehistoric times and hear about some of the many people who have helped shape our Island.

My guiding background:-

I started guiding when I left school and throughout my life, I have had various periods working as a guide both in Jersey and on the continent. In 2020 I qualified as a Jersey Bronze Badge guide.
